The Carriage House is a large two-story free-standing house built in 1986 using the "Savannah grey" bricks of the original Carriage House. The Carriage House has two bedrooms, two and a half baths, fully-equipped kitchen and living / dining room -- all decorated in a colonial island theme reminiscent of the adventuresome period of the Main House (1885).

|
The Carriage House also has it's own private garden, its own private entrance and enough room for two couples traveling together or a couple with an adolescent child. The kitchen is fully equipped (electric stove, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes, pans and glassware) -- and could be used for a more extended and economical stay in the Savannah region. The hosts provide "starters" -- coffee, muffins, orange juice etc. -- to begin your stay. The local supermarket and specialty markets are truly a stone's throw down the road. So you can cook your own low-country seafood specialties if you so desire.

Each bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, ample closet space, and exquisite reproduction furniture. The living room has a recliner chair, a comfortable sofa, cable television, and a dining table and chairs comfortable for four people.

|
Each bath boasts a full tub, shower, toilet, sink and plenty of counter and shelf space for your things -- Kohler fixtures have been used throughout. Towels and linen are provided for your stay.

While the Carriage House is rented by the night, with a two to three night
minimum stay; there is also maid service each second day, and complete concierge
services by the owners who reside in the main house. Local telephone
use is also available in the Morning Parlor of the Main House, if you
have forgotten your cell phone at home. Your hosts will help
to answer any questions you may have and provide brochures, maps, and
advice about any of the many, many local attractions available in the
region.
