May 05:  "Artful Hositality. Intimate Lodging. Indulge."(sm) advertising campaign for Historic Inns of Savannah is launched on CAT bus #3031 in Savannah, Georgia.

Apr 05: The Ballastone Inn. Southern Living Presents “Lodge Skillet" episode SLP708, A Turner South Original Production. Airing dates begin in April 2005.

Feb 05: The Marshall House and Hamilton-Turner. The Charlotte Observer, “Make the most of 36 hours in Savannah, Let Savannah treat you to its charms."

Feb 05: The Ballastone Inn spotlighted. The Wine Report feature "Drinking in the history" begins, "With 270 years of history, Savannah is a can't miss destination for travelers in search of a blast with the past." "...If you're planning a trip [to Savannah], soak up some history by staying at one of the magnificent old buildings that have been lavishly resurrected as inns. One of the best is the Ballastone Inn...."

Jan 05: Magnolia Place. Southern Living “Living on Tybee Time." Slow down and enjoy an old-fashioned beach getaway.” ** Magnolia Place is NOW CLOSED.

Jan 05: Chicago Tribune, "Savannah Tied Up in Package." When you stay in one of Savannah's more gracious hotels, you get more then bed, bath and breakfast. The Eliza Thompson House holds a wine and cheese reception each evening 5:30-7pm, followed by dessert and coffee 8:30-10pm. You'll have just enough time to schedule dinner in between.
