Welcome to the RAIN FOREST RETREAT webpage. We are located on the enchanting "Big Island" of Hawaii, the largest of all the Hawaiian Islands. Known for its radiant, glowing volcanoes, and sparkling waterfalls that flow amongst vibrant, tropical flowers, this is a place you can truly call "Paradise". There are miles and miles of tropical, breath-taking, scenic views of mountains and valleys, and picturesque beaches. The weather is almost perfect ranging from comfortably warm to a fresh cool, misty rain. The pace of the "Big Island" is easygoing and unique.

Our lodging is nestled in a forest between the world's most active volcano, Kilauea, and her sister Mauna Kea, at an elevation of 2,000 feet, conveniently located from the airport and historic downtown Hilo. Here at the RAIN FOREST RETREAT we offer an abundance of fun-filled sport and water activities for our guests. These include biking, hiking, camping, kayaking, snorkeling and sailing. Our accommodations are private, spacious and beautifully decorated. For your relaxation needs we have a swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage therapy, fitness center, billiards, high-speed internet access, telephones and cable television in each room.

Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea National Park, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Gardens, and a host of other wonderful attractions are on the "Big Island" for you to see. There are also helicopter tours, horseback trail riding, four-wheel excursions, deep-sea fishing and spectacular stargazing at Mauna Kea Summit, available at an additional cost.
