Mr. Maurice

 
 

Maurice Andre Williams, born February.17, 1981, started singing ate the tender age of two. His was motivated mostly by his mother‘s (Rachel Williams) 24 hour play of gospel music on the kitchen radio, and also in part by his father‘s (Michael Williams) deep rooted appreciation for Reggie music following in his Jamaican Heritage. Other inspirations include Lionel Ritchie, Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, and 112 followed with music refinement by Mrs. Chantrell, Mrs. Mary Sue Reagan, Ms. Jennifer Lovett, and others. Mr. Maurice’s favorite genres of music are soul, R & B, hip-hop, gospel, and jazz., however, classifies his genre as alternative soul.

Mr. Maurice has performed at many events ranging from sing with the Windsor Forest High School Chorus in New York, New York at Carnegie Hall to lead the 500 Strong Olympic Choir at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He is considerably efficient in different styles of singing that consist of: soul, country, and blues. He has had a total of 5 years of professional vocal training, 2 years with the prestige’s Mary Sue Reagan.

Mr. Maurice has aspirations of being next international music mogul. His first album “What I be Thinking Bout Sometimes” highlights the realism of everyday life. He currently working on his new album “The Next Chapter” and working on the up and coming Beat the Bootlegger Tour.
