  1. After attending our events religiously for the past several months, Patty secured a position at SAIC because of the help of another fellow member who positioned her within his company for the job.  In addition, another member, Judy was successful in being hired by Digicon thanks to the support of Luigi.  Both Sandy and Luigi are true ambassadors of our group.

  2. Another member has become a client of one of our lessor known member boutique Financial Advisory firms because of a personal introduction to the firm by another client who happens to be in our it4dc club.

  3. Remember Mimi’s 40+ romantic singles party a few Friday’s ago?  Well a fellow female member attended and found herself on a date with someone she met that evening.  We appreciate Mimi (another member) hosting these terrific parties to assist all of us who lead busy hectic lives and find it a challenge to meet genuinely interesting people.  Mimi’s next event is on Friday, October 12th.

  4. We helped promote Natasha’s new business, Imagination Creations, which led to several leads for her as well as other referrals including working with the boutique Financial Advisory Firm mentioned earlier to help promote their relocation.

  5. Through the network, my son’s Travel Soccer team received a number of generous sponsorships for the upcoming season as well as one member who has generously donated his time and company resources to support my daughter’s soccer team website.  Now we have to see what the parents of these teams can do to drive more business to all these folks.

  6. Lastly, Fred Harrison was introduced to me via Linda Drake several months ago and because of that meeting and support for his book, we had another successful book signing event that exposed Fred’s work to more members and his networking group (NortonNet) and ours have a stronger affiliation with co-mingling of members at each other’s events.
