Two years ago, I attended my first IT4DC event and was immediately hooked.  Not only did I make many new friends, I learned of the incredible network of opportunities that existed within a few hours and a martini. 

My best contact has turned out to be Luigi Valentini of Digicon Corporation. Luigi introduced me to several of his co-workers and it turned out we worked across the street from each other.  Our companies teamed together on contract opportunities for the federal government and last week I made the jump to Digicon as their Strategic Alliance Manager.  This new twist in my career would never have happened had my family not met Dip Chandra and his lovely wife Val in our neighborhood 10 years ago.  I expect that this career move to Digicon will be one of my best choices in a 25 year career that spans art, textiles, landscaping, the performing arts, Audiovisual systems and now IT.
