Subject: Heads up for the September event.  We are going to shoot for a (big) record - "Strive for one fifty five!" (155 participants). The date will be Wednesday Sept. 28th.  Mark your calendars,tell your friends and watch out for more details on the  website.  There will be a prize for the member that brings the most number of new attendees by 7:30pm.

• Congratulations to Julie Baker of STG who won the prize for last months event.  She had 4 new referrals attend the evening.  Notable runners up include Rich Demasi of NGIT (3 newbies), Debra Tremain (3 newbies) & Matt Conners & Carla Gregory with 2 folks each.  The total number of first timers was 28!  To all who brought a person, your efforts are appreciated.

• Thanks to all of you who persevered through the horrendous traffic mess to make it to the event on Wednesday.  Your support and commitment to it 4 dc is acknowledged.  I know some of you had to turn around and we understand it was a difficult DC traffic evening.
  
  
• We did not reach our goal but had a commendable turnout (somewhere in the 100 range, although some attendees thought it was much higher).  It sure did seem packed, check out the photos from the event on the website.
