To all of you who supported Michael Mort's book signing event on September 27th, both Michael and I appreciate the turnout. We had another stellar event at Tavern on the Lake in Reston this month (checkout the photos). There was plenty of successful networking with great food (including the addition of meat), a cool evening, the view of Lake Anne, private party facilities, wonderful service and a crowd that numbered 60+ attendees (including 20 "newbies"). Tavern on the Lake provided us with a classic Mediterranean atmosphere and we were stayed till at least 10:30pm! Specific individuals who deserve special attention for their referral prowess include Julie Baker of Sanz (3 people) and Andrew Polcha of Gridprocessor, who brought along 2 newbies, Carla Gregory of PropNet (2); the Digicon crowd (5) and other notables such as Pete Zawadzki of Rigpa with 2 new folks. In addition, authors Terry Krohn and Jackie Bassett came out to support their fellow author. I am happy so many members think so highly of our organization to bring other colleagues and friends to the monthly social.  Plus don't forget about checking out the new individual data back service that Paul Laflamme and his partner Tom Gervais presented.
