We had a good news/bad news kind of turnout for this past post Labor Day event.  The good news was that more than 30+ folks remembered we had a gathering even though I never sent out any notices.  The bad news is that I realized that without the reminder notice a day or two before the event, the turnout will be low.  The weather again was awesome, gosh how lucky are we right now?  Topic s of discussion included Labor Day activities, the job market, the relatively light turnout, whether our Maison du Vin Wine Tasting/Musical special event would take place and persuading folks to attend the Federal Circle Business Development seminar.  Thank you to all of you for referring our newbies and sending them to our event. Additional thanks to Juan (bartender) and the Westin Hotel management team for their hospitality & the wonderful appetizers provided to us at such short notice (they thought the event was on Wednesday). Our next event will be at the Café Montmartre, Lake Anne Plaza, Reston, VA location on Wednesday September 22nd .
