An unusually mild & warm late October evening drove yet another record turnout. We had another 70+ attendees at Café Montmartre. Our group planted ourselves all over the property with most folks sitting outside taking advantage of the temperatures and the sunshine. We had great support from core members and newbies (18) despite an accident on Baron Cameron road. Kudos to all those of you who were persistent and made it there even at 7pm! Topics of discussion included Samir’s handwriting (it is the neatest I have seen in a man and can beat most women’s too); my moustache growth and the explanation of multiple upcoming Halloween parties where I will be a peace-lovin’ hippie and best of all a fairly recent member who got a client from our group at her 2nd meeting. Now that is what makes me happiest to hear. Great job Joanne! Our gracious host continued to bring out a plentiful supply of wonderful appetizers including a pate maison that was delicious! And of course the bar staff kept up with our beverage requests! Checkout the photos on the website & see what a fabulous time we had as well as many of the newbies who attended. Our next event will be the Post Election Day gathering at Bombay Tandoor (Tyson’s Corner, VA) on Wednesday, November 4th. This one is a special event as we have a $40 diner gift certificate prize to the attendee who brings the most “newbies” (first-timers) to the event with a minimum of 5 to qualify. The winner will be announced at 7:30pm. Please invite all the folks you can think of to continue to drive a big turnout and thank you all for your continued support.”
