For the first time this year we hit a record 50+ turnout at the Bombay Tandoor (finally). The support from core members and newbies alike was fantastic. The weather cooperated as did the traffic on Route 7 to enable us to have a wonderful time. Topics of discussion included Paulette, Kirsti & Lisa coordinating their outfits around earthy tones, Sandy’s beard (my hair has transferred to his face), the Virginia Gold Cup as well as the English Premier League soccer games. Our gracious hosts continued to bring out a plentiful supply of wonderful Indian appetizers! And of course the bar staff kept up with our beverage requests! Our next event will be the Pre-Halloween Day gathering at Café Montmartre (Lake Anne Plaza, Reston, VA) on Wednesday, October 21st.
