On a sad evening, with the likelihood that we may not be returning to this veritable venue, after Tavern on the Lake closes its door on Saturday (10/26), we had another brilliant turnout (close to 45 people).  Our regulars showed up in droves to wish the place farewell and our newbies (we had lots of those folks) witnessed a terrific social gathering.  David Mitchell from L3 came the furthest (from Boston), out distancing Jerry Daniels (VA Beach).  Carla and her crew were in fine form and Andrew Polcha showed off his new right eye look with a nice size burn below and above the eye.  Other memorable attendees included the RHT team of Mark, Shane and Alaa plus Sandy who brought the SAIC & associates (Martha and sister Bobbie) as well as Fred Harrison (NortonNet affiliate) and his cohort in crime, Cheryl.  Honourable mentions include Mercedes and Kathy (both first timers), Art Medici, Cheryll Pease, Dan Bell and Tim Harvey.  And let’s not forget the food this evening was not only delicious but plentiful too.  Mark behind the bar, as per usual did his extraordinary job to make sure we were served and not without beverages.
