Another warm autumn evening greeted the smokers of our group on the patio as we had yet another successful evening at Chima.  Wednesday’s event drew a larger than usual percentage of “newbies”, thanks to folks like Mark Penalosa, Kathee Wheatley, Suneeta Rana, Linda Martino and George Bishop who all invited folks to come join us and what a wonderfully vibrant crowd of folks they all were.  Our traditional core members attended too to make the evening a fabulous success.  Conversations centered on the economic climate, politics, a new all 100% organic beverage as well as possible new jobs, plus a few folks asked me about my UK trip.  Our group mingled and introduced themselves around especially the newbies who apparently were not shy (good for them!).  And of course, the laws of six degrees of separation was validated when a newbie knew one of my core members and were surprised to meet each other at our event.  We get around!
Our hosts at Chima did a great job of providing terrific bar service and ensuring our group were well taken care of.
