Despite being 2 days before Thanksgiving, we had yet another stellar turnout from the group, especially around the “young ‘uns” who attended to learn from us “ol’ uns” on how to network.  The noise level definitely indicated people were engaged and conversational (something I know when I have to shout loudly to get people’s attention for the 6:15pm Spotlight Firm/Individual spot).  We had 10 kids participate with their parents, including my daughter as well as another healthy group of great newbies. Thank you all (David Kamminga, Drew Townsend (newbie himself), Jeanette Townsend, Jacob Neal, Fred Harrison from NortonNet, Diana Ross (herself a newbie) and Alex Burns) for referring our newbies and sending them to our event. Remember if you invite someone, please attend yourself & make sure they bring business cards!  John Franklin’s educational presentation to the group on Sentai Digital’s mobile application development was very enlightening and concise too.  Other topics of conversation included the news about the Royal Wedding in the UK & whether any of us will get invited, everyone’s Thanksgiving plans and parties plus how decent the weather would be for the holidays.  Oh and lest I forget, my trip to Los Cabos in Mexico and the tan I had acquired.  Checkout the photos http://www.it4dc.com/it4dc.php?page=pics.php on the website & see what a fabulous time we had as well as some of the "newbies" & young ‘uns who attended.
