Once more the group continues to show its support for our newest Tysons Corner venue.  With no real pressure to attend & some notable core member absentees, we still managed to muster nearly 70 attendees.  Peter Warren from the Fabulous Dialtones graced us with his presence, as did long time absentee Faith Cooke (so good to see her warm presence).  Our professional photographer Maggie Szymanek (Uncommon Photography) snapped away a ton of wonderful candid photos (see link below), plus the new catch phrase I heard was “Dip @ Da’s!”  Several members requested the ability for us to RSVP with name, title and company prior to an event so folks can see who is planning to attend & did you know that the Spanish Flamenco originated in Rajasthan (India).  No volatile weather interfered wit the event. Special mention goes to Peter Adler, Brian Horlacher, Manny Fu, James Ruffin (himself a newbie), Paulette Gilmore, Richie Reynolds, Alyson Le (2 new folks) & Nazanin Tavassoli who all invited single guests.  A grand total of 9 more newbies attended. Great job team!  Thank you all for inviting others.  The Collateral Display table had literature (better this time). Appreciate Friday’s @ Four “loaning” Maggie to us & I would ask you if you like her work to reach out to her.  Additional thanks to Ambrose & Komal for their great bartending services and Gino and his entire staff who continue to serve us well and the Da Domenico’s management team for their terrific hospitality, plus the wonderful appetizer they provide us. We have a Special Value Add event on Tuesday, May 10th @ Bombay Tandoor, Tyson’s Corner, VA plus our next regular event will be back at Café Montmartre, Lake Anne Plaza, Reston, VA on Wednesday, May 25th. Please invite folks who you believe will benefit and enjoy our group so we can continue to drive a big turnout at our Reston hangout in 2011, making this year even more successful than 2010!
