“I wanted to thank you for putting on a fantastic function”, said Theo Hogan-Silcott, a new attendee to our event.  These and several more comments (see Success Stories link off the homepage) were expressed to me as our numbers continued to swell, paralleling the sweltering rising temperatures outside.  Many folks sat outside to take in the Lake view and enjoy some warm weather.  Patty Anderson mentioned the following “I've attended networking events throughout my career, but have never encountered such a congenial and enjoyable atmosphere”.  I am very pleased to hear the folks she met exhibited the right kind of stuff that I am looking for in this group.  Kudo's to all those members.  Thank you.

Thanks as always to the core people who attended and support it4dc and continue to participate on a regular basis.  Folks like (and I apologize to those I may have missed) Tim, Scott, Pete, Gail, Cheryll, Sandy, Carla,  Dan, Bob, George, Linda, Alice, David, Sheila, Margaux, Rob, Luigi, Mike, Manish, Andrew, Earl, Gary, Danielle, Laurie, Lynn, John, Shanna and probably many more. We had some new folks as well as long lost friends (absent for a while) attend.  Long lost friends included Faith Cooke (Booz Allen), Trish Deel, George Atkinson and John Curtin (Cappat).  The “newbies” whom we welcome were Susan Morrison (Northrop Grumman); Susan Lucas (BI Advisors); Michael Overfelt (Armor Holdings); Nasrin Dalirazar; Theo Hogan-Silcott; Mark Mulcahy (GWA Innovative Technology); Omri Bahat PhD (SQL Farms); James McGruder (Advanced Visions); Judy (Hair Master & Nail Salon).  Plus the chef, Tom at Tavern on the Lake put on yet another excellent spread including those dynamite Cajun fish appetizers.  Yummy!  Our appreciation to Anand and his bar staff for an excellent job again.  We do look forward to seeing the first timers return at the June 6th Washington DC event or June 20th Reston, VA location as well as our favourite attendees keeping the atmosphere scintillating and “vibrant”.”
