Forging Quality Social & Business Connections

The 70 degree temperatures must have persuaded most members to spend the evening running, walking or just simply taking time out to enjoy the beginning of spring, because we had a slow but steady turnout throughout Wednesday evening. We had a few people who drank outside to admire Lake Anne and the warm evening, but most of us partied in doors to Mark’s (bar tender’s) excellent service. The conversations were numerous, including home foreclosures in our neighborhood, skiing and the successful hiring of another one of our members via the help of our group. NortonNet members came to our event again and continue to help bring the two groups closer. Thank you Fred for all of your help! We had only 4 newbies this week, but a number of people who had not attended in years “popped” in. Always nice to see (and know) these forgotten faces. And of course, the die-hard core members (yes you know who you are!) ever present and ever willing to support the event. My heartfelt thanks to you all for the support you have provided. Fortunately, I had to dash to make the event on time and forgot the camera, so no pics for the evening (I am sure many folk were relieved). The next event is on Thursday, April 10th at Chima when I am sure I will be jet lagged having just returned from the UK. See you then and onto a warmer spring!
