Considering there was no initial or reminder email due to my home PC challenges, we had an amazing turnout of folks. It appears many of our members read the first part of the invites and save the dates. Good for you and it certainly saved the day and evening for me. Now if I can get you all to read the rest of the notifications! We enjoyed a terrific evening of quality attendees, high proportion of newbies and our roving professional event photographer, Ross Kruglak snapping away pics. Checkout the photos on the website & see what a fabulous time we had as well as many of the “newbies” who attended. Cecelia Tabois’ spotlight presentation was the highlight of the evening as she added the Letterman “Top 10” approach that was comedic and insightful. Great job Cecelia in setting the bar high! There was a lot of chatter about a number of topics including Sandy’s early return to the group after surgery (he just could not stand to be away from us), the area dodging another winter storm, my home computer woes and worst of all, Dip himself forgetting to bring any business cards! What a major faux pas for a supposedly networking guru! As usual our core members continue to drive new folks including NortonNet, David Kamminga’s Meetup.com group and specific individuals. Our hosts provided delicious appetizers, both hot and cold. Our next event will be at the Westin Hotel in Tyson’s Corner, VA on Wednesday, March 10th. Please invite all the folks you can think of to continue to drive a big turnout and continue 2010 in style and make this year even more successful than 2009! Thank you all for your continued support
