Once more, another fabulous turnout at Café Montmartre, Reston to follow our last Tyson’s Corner event!  Our affiliate members especially responded magnificently to show the owner of Café Montmartre that we really love having our events at this venue.  Between Dave Kamminga’s Meetup.com Tech group and NortonNet, we had 11 newbies, plus our members added another 9 more new referrals.  That made for nearly 40% of the 50+ turnout were new folks and that certainly livened up the evening.  And our hosts responded in turn with wonderful appetizers that eventually were consumed by all.  For those of you wondering if my “adopted” German son, Bastian was present, he sadly was not due to a major packing exercise for his return trip to Berlin after singlehandedly keeping the US economy going!  There was a great deal of banter still around the jobs (John Burkholder from Digicon was present to discuss the 6 positions he has open), the economy and the blossoming spring weather.  Our next event is at Bombay Tandoor on Tuesday, April 7^th.  Let’s all personally drive another big turnout and thank you to all of you for continuing to support and drive a large turnout.
