Considering the last minute change of date and the short notice to inform everyone, the turnout on Thursday, June 15th was excellent. 60+ folks were present and many of you expressed how they really liked the venue, open spaces around a rectangular bar and how convivial the atmosphere for a happy hour gathering. All the more sad that "closed for renovation" was really a signal for "close permanently". Yes unfortunately, attendees from companies such as Deloitte, PropNet USA, Paul Tittle & Associates, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, Dutko Worldwide, Snapp Technologies, Preferred Offices, LanTech Inc, DoD OSD, Office Focus, Global Network Services, Synaptic Source, Xacta (a Telos Company), ARC Management, Livingston Communications, Sportsflight (to name but a few) all witnessed one of the last evenings of Eurosia in Reston, VA. The place shut it doors on June 17th.

Still for those of us who attended, we had a merry time with lots of new connections being made an some very interesting "newbies" like Steve Lee who works for an air charter service (Sportsflight) that saves corporate travelers money and time when flying a group of employees to the same location for a company event (Sales Kickoff, Offsites, User Conference etc.). If you would like to know more, call me. No pictures of the festivities from the last event because silly me forgot my camera!

The next event is Thursday, July 20th and is in the Reston Town Center, VA at the American Tap Room (ATR). Our dedicated regular socialite, Linda Drake knows the owner and persuaded him to help us out. Many thanks to Linda for stepping up and please thank her on July 20th!
