Dip’s new haircut was the topic under most discussion as a reasonable crowd turned out for the short week before July 4th weekend. The very short, near buzz cut was heavily discussed by most attendees and opinions varied to a wide extent. Sorry no photos captured on the website, you had to be there to see it. Our soccer queen, Jill brought along two newbies amongst the 7 total that attended. Our crowd was around 30, but very international, two Brits, one of whom lives in South Africa, Cameroonian (is that legal?), Indians and a Canadian! Other topics included the 4th of July plans for folks (some of whom were leaving after my event), jobs, recruiting as well as my European sojourn, plus we had two folks that have not been in a while that returned to the fold. Welcome back Michael and Clayton! The food as always was spicy and delicious and the hospitality from our hosts outstanding. Checkout the photos on the website and see what a merry time we had. Special thanks go to all those regular members who continue to support our group (Fred Harrison and his NortonNet folks as well as Sandy). Our next event is later than you think at Café Montmartre (Lake Anne, Reston, VA) on Tuesday, July 28th.
