We had another good event on June 3rd.  The weather held, but it was windy so few folks ventured outside on the patio.  We had decent turnout with many folks choosing to arrive as the evening progressed.  We had a very large proportion of newbies attend, more so than most other events this year.  Nearly 45 people came with 18 newbies.  I saw a great deal of networking, stimulating conversation and camaraderie.  Check out the photos 

Our long time member Terry Krohn was present checking out Chima in preparation for next month’s Book Signing event on July 2nd.

I appreciate all those who attended.  Noteworthy appearances from the regular members include Cheryl Dickenson, Terry Krohn (for whom we will have the next Book Signing on July 2nd), Al Pines, John Morrissey, Adam Brinkley, Rob Silva, Tina Dante, Nick Yrizarry, Susan Swann, Andrew Polcha, Pedro Morales, Mike Garvey and Aparna Moondra to name but a few!  We had a number of newbies this week, (Mike Donofrio, Mitzi Mead, Mike Morello, Doug O’Brien, Danielle Barber, Mark Johnson, Laura Polcha and more) but a number of people who had not attended in years “popped” in too.  Always nice to see (and know) these forgotten faces.  My heartfelt thanks to you all for the support you have provided, especially to one of the most successful events yet.

The next event is on Wednesday, June 18th at Tavern on the Lake, Reston, VA.  See you then and onto an even hotter summer days outside overlooking Lake Anne!
