Another terrific event was unleashed upon Reston this month (checkout the photos).  We had one of the our most successful networking sessions in the history of it4dc, numbering around 100 attendees (including 35 "newbies").  American Tap Room put on some hearty appetizers, great service and a terrific atmosphere.  They know how to throw a party!  Specific individuals who deserve special attention for their referral capability include John Zoul of Fairfax Mortgage Investments who brought along 7 newbies; Margaux Gutierrez of Northrop Grumman IT (6 newbies); Luigi Valentini of Digicon (5 or 6); the ever reliable, Carla Gregory of PropNet (5); Lynn Gilmore of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (4); the ever dependable, Cheryll Pease (3) and Sally Miller of Accenture (3).  There were other notable contributors (Mike Conwell, Judy Schneider, and John Curtin who grabbed 2 from the bar to join us).  I am excited that so many members think so highly of our organization to bring other colleagues and friends to the monthly social. 

 

Because Reston seems to be a very popular location our next event is on Wednesday, August 23rd at Tavern on the Lake (Mediterranean restaurant on Lake Anne) off Baron Cameron Road (about 2 miles from the Dulles Toll Rd).  Mark the event in your calendar today using our new feature on the it4dc website!!  Companies represented this past month include:
