"With gridlock in the City, we still managed a decent turnout for the second Café Montmartre event (with wonderful appetizers for the first time). Our gracious host, Anh Le, made sure we had hot finger lickin' food to sample with our beverages despite the frigid cold temperatures. Many of still gazed up at the TV to see the Inauguration parade which prompted many a robust, political dialogue amongst the 30 guests, especially the pro-Republican element.

A good time was had by all as witnessed in the photos. We had a lighter turnout of newbies (only 5) and Dave Kamminga and his meetup.com techies were sparse in number too. However, the core group turned up in droves to make the most of an historic day and we partied on till the open mic session began.  Some of the conversation was around the upcoming Valentines "value-add" event on February 11th and the benefits of attending.  I look forward to seeing everyone at Bombay Tandoor on February 3rd."
