Although the evening was wet and dreary, our hosts at Bombay Tandoor once again exceeded themselves with a plentiful supply of delicious, hot, spicy appetizers that could only warm up the cockles of one’s soul and stomach and generated a scintillating atmosphere of conversation, noise, laughter and fun.  The photos clearly show we had an ever increasing turnout to this gem of a location, with nearly 40 attendees and another healthy smattering of newbies, some of whom learned about our event through the “Beltway Networking” site that a regular member pointed out to me recently.  One can for free post ones networking events on this site.
 
Our group was diverse and the hot conversation was about registering to the “Valentine’s Business Networking” event on 2/11 at Habatat gallery.  Other topics were the Inauguration, economy and jobs.  Folks were so enthused by tonight’s event that one wonders how large the crowd could get on a dry, warm, sunny evening.  Our crowd was very internal with several French folks, two Brits, a Canadian, Indian and a gentleman from Liberia in Africa.  Most had business cards to share and the core members were present in force.  I look forward to seeing you all on Inauguration Day in Lake Anne, Reston.
