What terrific attendance
and support on Wednesday evening (1/18) for both Terry Krohn's book signing (we
"guest-imated" 30 books sold) as well as for my new endeavours and
adventures! I know Terry would like to thank all of you who took the time
to buy a book and to chat to him about his work, company and the publishing
industry. When you finish the book, please provide him with your feedback
as he would love to hear your reviews.
As for me, I appreciated every
single person who was genuinely interested in this new stage of my life and
provided either thoughtful advice, profound suggestions or words of wisdom, much
needed motivation and encouragement or reached into their charitable experience
for helpful hints to make this work. To all of you, many thanks as I could
not sleep a wink that night due to my brain being on overload with all of this
wonderful heartfelt, outpouring of support and helpful hints. Please keep
reminding me of my declaration to pursue this venture and my door is open to any
ideas you think might be valuable.
To all of you who were
instrumental in pulling in the hotel guests into our crowd (several want to
join it4dc group), many
thanks. You know who you are; people like Carla Gregory, Dan Bell,
Danielle Perozich, Bob Meeker, Cheryl Pease and Suneeta Rana,to name but a few
who made these newcomers welcome and the evening a great success. I truly
believe we are creating a unique concept for quality social and business
networking in the Washington DC metro area, something that sets our Happy Hours
apart from the rest of the madding crowd. Please click here to see the latest
