We doubled the participants from our first ever DC event with a crowd of folks that were genuinely moved and interested in the world's challenges and how one lady is making a difference.  Sarah had poster boards and a map scattered all around the bar to help us all understand the country of Sierra Leone and the challenges it's children and women face and the work that Sarah has accomplished to date.  Thanks to Jimmy, the bartender and Tina of My Brother's Place, Sarah had a photo presentation of her work on show throughout the evening.  Several generous donations were received as well as some clothes for the children.  We listened to Sarah explain her goal to inspire all of us to action, however limited our time might be.  The service was terrific and we enjoyed a very warm and motivational evening.
