The eclectic weather did not deter a stellar crowd from showing up for “mic” night. We had several out-of-towners present from Pittsburgh and Sacramento thanks to our core member Tim Harvey and a past member Stacy Carroll who in turn invited a newbie! The evening brought together a great mix of folks and delicious foods which were sumptuously eaten by our crowd. As usual, David Kamminga and his meetup.com crowd were in attendance in ever increasing numbers. There were about 8 newbies and a total of about 40+ during the evening. Once again, our core group is so supportive. I think we all discussed when summer would arrive as the evening had a colder tingle to it. We appreciate everyone who brought along a new person and also the core members showed up in numbers to make for a very entertaining evening. Combine once more our fabulous host (Anh Le) with her generous helpings of delicious appetizers; the music entertainment after 7:30pm; we were well taken care of. Maybe we should have a “mic” night of our own? Our next event is at Bombay Tandoor on Wednesday, May 6th. Please continue to drive a big turnout and thank you all for your continued support.
